Who Am I?

'I am a human being. A lifelong learner. Lover of life; the adventure and the experience.

Through all of my senses and more'....and so the poem goes on...

I have spent my lifetime evolving and working professionally with change.

I have worked my way from basement to boardroom aid of a global education provider, sat on multiple boards, lead cross functional teams, managed a multi-million £ change program and a range of product portfolios, working on strategy and culture change. I have and continue to have the pleasure of working and growing alongside some wonderful people, including some of the very best consultants and change experts in the industry - many of whom are both friends and mentors. I am also a mum, wife, daughter, sister, auntie and great auntie.

Originally from the East of England I grew up in a large family system - building relationships and interacting with people of all ages. I come from a long line of creatives, home makers and healers. I began working independently in 2016, when, as a mum of three children under five I decided to act on my values and everything that is important to me to seek a better way of living and working in balance with my young family. I moved away from a toxic work environment and towards my family to care for 3 children under 6, the youngest of whom was experiencing acute health issues. My aim; to continue to make a professional and meaningful contribution to the world of work, enabling others and be present with my children - to do that I had to explore new ways of being. Over that time I have been supporting clients to grow and manage change - collaborating with fellows, mentors, coaches, learning, unlearning and relearning and getting to grips with the fine art of consultancy.

It's been a period of deep and expansive personal inquiry. Through doing 'the work' myself I have learnt first hand what it really means to be human, to be vulnerable, to feel it all; to lead for new and better futures and work through difficulty into emergence. I get that at times it can be anxiety provoking and I also understand the value of surrounding yourself with professionals able to offer a careful balance of high support and high challenge - helping you to navigate both flow and disturbance, and lead on the changes you want to see. I've learnt enough to know that I have to lot to learn.

Helping others to release their power and do great work gives me joy. I bring my whole self, mind body and soul to my professional practice.   Read more about my approaches here.
